The Cathedral was originally founded on the site in 696, although the earliest surviving sections date to the 11th Century. We have been the cathedrals engineers since 1986 and over the last 30 years have overseen major structural works including the rebuilding of the East Wall of the Lady Chapel, Tower stabilisation works, complete re-ordering of the cathedral close and rope access survey of the nave vaulting.
